FOREIGNER/WHITESNAKE/JASON BONHAM - BLOSSOM MUSIC CENTER

What a show! Foreigner was awesome. The lighting effects for “Starrider” were out of this world. As far as Whitesnake and Jason Botham, they put on a great show too. But the sound quality for their sets stunk. The bass was over powering and the vocals were too low. We went to see three great bands, but only heard one.

FOREIGNER ASCEND JULY 6, 2018

Foreigner was great last night. I have seen them 3 times with Lou Gramm and 2 times with Kelly Hanson lead singing. Lou is still the voice of Foreigner in my mind but Kelly fills in Lou's shoes really well. He was polished and kept the show clean. I don't know why people still refer to Kelly as tge new guy. He has been with Foreigner at least 13 years now. This may have been the best dhow that I've ever seen Foreigner perform. Whitesnake put on a really good show too. They rocked Ascend hard last night. Tommy Aldridge is one of the best drummers ever and Coverdale still sounds great. I was disappointed though that the rain delay kept Jason Bonham from performing .

FOREIGNER WAS TIGHT!

Great venue even when it rains Foreigner was surprisingly polished and tight. Had a wonderful time and new front singer was dead on, personable and energetic Whitesnake on the other hand, oh my someone needs to tap David Coverdale on the shoulder and gently tell him it's over dude.... and assist him off the stage ... his time has passed.

FOREIGNER @ ILANI CASINO

In a word, Wow! What a fantastic show with incredible personal connection from ALL members of the band. Having enjoyed these guys since my high school days some 40 years ago, and reliving the experience of the three previous concerts where they were the headliners, this event for me could only have been slightly improved with the appearance of Lou Graham who unfortunately couldn’t perform due to illness. Everybody performed flawlessly throughout the show and Kelly Hansen was outstanding and an energetic stand in for Lou when the original members performed a few classics together as though they’d never been apart. If you missed the show here, lived the music like I did, are a newer fan and have an opportunity to catch them at another time don’t let it get away! Always been great showmen, spot on timing and tune to this day and the epitome of what rock icons should be. Thank you all for the music that links me to memories of the best times in my life. What an incredible gift you’ve all given your fans just doing something that you obviously enjoy so much. You’re welcome for our support, the price of admission was inconsequential to the priceless enjoyment you’ve provided. Mick, Lou, Al, Dennis, Ian, Rick, Kelly, Tom, Jeff, Michael, Bruce and Chris thank you for an awesome show. Thanks to the the event team at Ilani for their friendly and professional service also, nice job!

FOREIGNER WAS AWESOME. LOVERBOY WAS GOOD TOO

Foreigner strong as ever. Loverboy’s voice showing some age but still loving the music!

FOREIGNER & WHITESNAKE

Foreigner was spot on with their song selection, stage lighting and the lead singers interaction with the audience. Their library of songs is so extensive, each song is a classic. The sound for the 1st two songs seemed a little off. Not sure what was going on but they seemed to fix it. Big fan of Foreigner! Whitesnake is showing their age....They still have a great set of songs to rock to but David Coverdale has lost his tone. He seemed to be screaming more than singing. It was to the point I wasn't sure it was really him. The band was tight and the guitars took me back to the "big hair" glame bands of the 80's.. Loud! Jason Bonham and his LZ tribute band were a great opener for the night...

GREAT SHOW!

Overall, it was a great show. The lead singer has a great voice and the band is fantastic. Especially enjoyed the keyboard player. They also had lots of energy. I can't give it 5 stars because it was short. They played for 60 mts. then came back for a 20 mt encore.

MICK ABSENT / HANOVER THEATER MAY 9, 2019

Saw Foreigner w/Mick Jones in Boston last summer and they were amazing. However this time at Hanover, no Mick Jones, Concert was much shorter than the Boston concert. A little disappointed. And the sound wasn’t as clear, a lot of vibration.

FOREIGNER MOHEGAN SUN

Saw Foreigner last night at Mohegan. Pretty disappointing. The acoustics were not good and really ruined the performance. The less instrumental songs came through much more clearly and the band still has it. They need to get their sound crew together for a meeting as it is detrimentally affecting the show. Too much vibration and overall just sounded like loud noise. Not sure how we feel about the lead singer. He has a good voice but there seems to be a disconnect between him and the rest of the band members. Keyboards were spot on as was the guitarist and drummer.

3.0 star rating DMc from Detroit, Michigan

GREAT...BUT...

I love Foreigner and the show was great even without if Mick Jones. They fall flat on a few songs, namely Blue Morning, Blue Day. Even Juke Box Hero seemed to lacked some energy. I was disappointed that a keyboard/guitar was used instead of a saxophone on songs especially on the solo in Urgent. Although it was a short set, 13 songs, I enjoyed the concert. They have done better.

GREAT ENERGY IN DENVER

When the band entered the stage to start the show I noticed that Mick Jones was not on stage. I looked it up and it said he was having some health problems and would probably not return for the remainder of the tour. When Kelly introduced the band he made no mention of Mick at all. Mick Jones and Lou Graham are Foreigner. I felt there was some disrespect there. Back to the show!! Great energy, light show is the best I’ve seen them use. Kelly sounded great but set was short, they only played about 65 minutes if you subtract the intro to the band, a 7 min intro to dirty white boy, and a long talk about the age of the crowd. THREE STARS IS THE BEST I CAN DO!

SOUND AT MOODY CENTER WAS AWFUL

Surprised to go to such a terrible concert at Moody. I think the bands were probably good. Maybe even great. But I wouldn’t know because it a cacophony of noise. The sound quality was worst than pathetic. Could not understand anything that was said and the music was awful. Foreigner sounded better than Loverboy, but it still was a shock and a let down. In the bathrooms that was all anyone talked about.

2.0 star rating Raelynn from Detroit, Michigan

WASHED UP

We came to listen to music not somebody talking for nearly 20 minutes. Not playing the main hits. Loverboy was actually better! Wasted ticket

1.0 star rating AL Belcher from Birmingham, Alabama

BY FAR THE WORST CONCERT

This was the worst concert I have ever been to in my life. The sound was so bad you couldn't even understand the words to most of the songs. Whoever was in charge of the sound should be FIRED immediately. The band was fine but the sound was pathetic and they should've realized that. We left after an hour of that misery.

1.0 star rating Disappointed from Atlantic City, New Jersey

DISAPPOINTED

For a farewell concert, we looking forward to hearing the hits that Foreigner has given us for so many years. Instead, we listened to alot of lip flapping of words not melodies. The band spent more time off stage than performing. So many hits we were looking forward hearing, instead we heard the same songs we hear on the radio. Sadly, they’re nothing more than a cover band. Total let down!
